At Webb Electrical, we treat every solar and battery installation with a bespoke approach. We offer free site surveys where a technician will visit your property to discuss all aspects of solar energy with you. They will listen to your goals and provide professional, honest advice on what is achievable. A proposal will be promptly sent to you, and we will be available to explain the system and answer any questions you may have.
We provide solar PV designs for new builds and just require building plans to determine what can be installed on your roof. Often, when working on new build PV systems, we assist clients in managing their energy consumption by advising on likely electricity usage. Check out the Energy Saving Trust for more information.
We install a wide variety of brands and products. We don’t offer a ‘one size fits all’ system; your design will be tailored specifically for you. We will be contactable throughout the process. Solar and battery storage can take some getting used to, and we will always assist you post-installation to ensure you get the most from your system.
You may require approval from the National Grid to connect your system before installation. Generally, any inverter up to 3.68 kW per phase is permitted to be installed on a ‘fit and inform’ basis. Any system with an inverter larger than 3.68 kW per phase will require pre-approval from the National Grid. This process will be explained during the survey, and we can handle the application for you.

Your Home. Your Way.
Selecting the best energy tariff can be challenging, but we will assist you in choosing a suitable tariff after your installation. Most domestic installations can benefit significantly from ‘smart tariffs,’ where you can charge your battery with cheaper-rate electricity to use later when it’s more expensive. These smart tariffs are even more beneficial for people with electric vehicles or heat pumps. Even if you do not have space for solar panels, a standalone battery installation can be worthwhile.
Webb Electrical are MCS certified solar PV installers and NICEIC approved electrical contractors. You will receive all required certification to qualify for export tariffs and a handover pack containing all the relevant documentation needed if you ever sell the property.
We also carry out all aspects of maintenance work for existing PV systems, including fault finding, inverter replacements, battery replacements, and system expansions. We frequently inspect installations for new homeowners who have inherited a system and would like to ensure it is safe and functioning correctly.
